* Our Ice Prevention Setups requires No Batteries & No Electricity! The Ice Sweeper turns on WHEN THE WATER TEMPERATURE IS APPROXIMATELY 39-41 degrees and turns off at 42 degrees (Automatically). It is a thermal sensing valve that is constantly in contact with the water and releases enough water to prevent surface ice, as the water temperature dictates. No more – no less! It will keep water open in your Stock Tank to allow animals access during colder months! A Minimum of 8-10 PSI is IDEAL for the Automatic thermal valves to operate properly. We recommend diverting the overflow of the water a few feet away from your Stock Tank to prevent Ice buildup around your Stock Tank when the Ice Sweeper is in operation during colder months. YES!!! Our Valves are PERFECTLY DESIGNED for the Automatic ICE SWEEPER!!!
